Artem saved this place in a document titled “Puerto Aventuras Tacos”. His photographs show the name El Arbolito, and his map link opens the El Arbolito listing in Chacalal, near Puerto Aventuras. This visit is outside Playa del Carmen itself.
He gave taste 9/10, taco size 11/10 and tortilla 11/10. The two 11/10 scores are reproduced as written. He deducted a taste point because the tacos were not always hot.
He recorded 28 MXN per taco, card and cash payment, half-litre sodas and a large choice of juices. The photographed sign advertises handmade tortillas, beans and rice; rice is optional when your taco is assembled.
There is no taco menu to order from. Point to the filling you like at the counter. The server will ask “¿Con arroz?” (kohn ah-ROHS): “With rice?” Answer “Sí” (see) for rice or “No” (noh) without it. Artem recommends lime and care with the sauces. Ask which fillings are ready today.
A huge choice of fillings and juices. Add lime and be careful with the sauces. The tacos are not always hot. — Artem
