PLAYA DEL CARMEN / PLAYA FOOD

TACOS AL PASTOR / AVENIDA 30 NORTE

Los
Tarascos.

One of the better pastor stops in Playa, in my view. I like the tacos here, though the marinade is a little too much for my taste.

Pastor I like.
A little too much marinade.

For me, these are some of the best pastor tacos in Playa. They are not my top choice: there is a little too much marinade for my taste.

My notes record a Thursday all-you-can-eat pastor offer for 99 pesos. The frontage photo also shows a 99-peso Thursday taco-buffet banner. Check with the restaurant that the promotion is still running and ask what it includes before you go.

The photos show two very different views of the place: a busy open frontage and an almost empty dining room. On the table are salsas, lime, chopped onion and pastor tacos with pineapple.

MY HONEST TAKE

I like the pastor here. For my taste, there is a little too much marinade. — Art
