POZOLE / AVENIDA 30

Mi
Abuelita.

The pozole really worked for me. The price, less so. A small Avenida 30 restaurant with a bowl I enjoyed and a bill that felt high.

Great pozole.
A pricey bowl.

I really enjoyed the pozole at Mi Abuelita. My reservation is the price: to me, it felt overpriced. That is my personal impression of the value, alongside a very positive impression of the food.

My menu photo lists three pozoles at 180 pesos each: chicken, pork, and campechano with both. The chicken and pork versions are described as Jalisco rojo. I did not note which named version I ordered, so the photos show my meal without assigning it a menu variant.

The photos show red broth in a clay bowl, a spoonful of shredded meat, and a basket of crisp tortilla pieces with lime, radish, onion and dried chile. Inside are red chairs and patterned tablecloths; outside, look for the yellow and red Mi Abuelita frontage.

MY HONEST TAKE

Excellent pozole for my taste, but overpriced in my opinion. — Art
